Hale Koa Estate is one of the most lush garden wedding venues on O’ahu, Hawai’i. This O’ahu wedding villa offers an exclusive and intimate experience and is the perfect location to hold destination weddings. Situated between towering palm trees and vibrant flora, the property’s two buildings can accommodate a large group of your closest family and friends.

Zach and Mekayla celebrated their wedding on a beautiful weekend in late April. After a few days enjoying the beautiful pool and property with their closest people, they held their short and sweet ceremony in the estate’s back gardens. After the couple exchanged their vows under a tropical floral arch, guests were free to roam the expansive property to check out the mountain views from under twinkling lights.

South Congress Couple session Austin, Texas

South Congress Couple session. I met Ruby and Shota on South Congress in Austin, Texas for a sweet couple’s shoot. I love shooting in Urban Locations because they are constantly changing. There’s always something new to see and photograph- like this pop up flower truck from Good Juju!

Austin is one of my favorite cities (I’m only a bit bias since it’s my home town). I love the walk-ability. We were able to easily reach several dramatically different locations in a short amount of time since we were so close to downtown and the river!

I was happy to finally shoot the iconic “i love you so much.” wall. There can be a bit of a line here to get photographs, so it pays to go on a weekday.

Engagement photography shot at Manzanita Cliffs on the Oregon Coast

Manzanita Cliffs Oregon Coast Engagement

A Manzanita Cliffs Oregon Engagement at the coast. I met up with couple Bri and Ryan to take engagement photos on the Oregon Coast. After a muddy hike down to our cliff side location, we were greeted by the most beautiful and foggy scenic view.

As the light faded, we caught some beautiful blue hour shots with the waves. These cliffs are some of my favorite in Oregon. They really showcase the spectacular power of the Pacific Ocean.

Saint Petersburg Florida Beach Wedding

Sarah and Bradley celebrated their love with a beautiful Saint Petersburg Florida Beach Wedding.

The couple started their wedding day by getting ready with their closest friends and family at the Bellwether Beach Resort. The resort overlooks the beautiful lapping waves and white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. There is something so classically romantic about a beach wedding. While Sarah and Brad chose to follow tradition and hold their ceremony at a nearby Catholic church, they decided to hold their reception right on the coast.

Sarah and her bridesmaids hopped in a charming white street car rented from Star Trolley on their way to the ceremony.

Sarah and Bradley’s love story begins with the groom, who, during his formative years, attended a Catholic school nestled in the heart of Saint Petersburg. The couple chose to exchange their vows at the very church that had played a significant role in the his life while embarking on a new chapter of their own.

Following the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration continued at the Bellwether Beach Resort, where coastal charm met luxury. From the delicate floral arrangements to the elegantly adorned tables, every element came together to reflect the couple’s unique style and love for one another. As the sun began its descent, casting golden hues across the horizon, I snuck away with the couple to catch a stunning cotton candy sunset.

Columbia River Gorge Engagement Session

One of the coolest things about Portland, Oregon is its location. It is just a short drive from the Columbia River Gorge with dramatic mountain views and strikingly huge waterfalls. It’s always one of my first suggestions to couples who don’t have the time to drive out to the coast, but are still wanting to have some gorgeous Oregon views.

When Katie and Jude came out from Louisiana they were looking for something uniquely Oregon.  We spent some time at one of the Gorge’s many stunning overlooks. There is something so magical about being able to see the beautiful evergreen hills dip down to meet the Columbia River.

Katie and Jude definitely knew they wanted photos with one of the Gorge’s many waterfalls. They loved the look of Latourell falls with its beautifully dramatic cliff face and moody PNW vibes.

Latourell is also one of the easiest waterfalls in the Gorge to access. Just a short walk down from the parking lot, it’s an easy walk for long gowns wearers, but the surrounding forest still leaves you feeling fully immersed. Week days are the best time to visit. It is a popular spot and can get pretty crowded on the weekends.

Tess and Blake had an unusually warm wedding day in November at Black Forest by Wedgewood just outside of Colorado Springs.

We were blessed with lots of golden and bright light for their special day.

They said their, “I do!” overlooking a stunning evergreen forest in the mountains.

Guests mingled and danced the night away inside the reception hall.

The couple took time to dance with all of their family and friends.

As the evening drew to a close, the glow sticks came out and the dance party really began.
