O'ahu Wedding Villa
Hale Koa Estate is one of the most lush garden wedding venues on O’ahu, Hawai’i. This O’ahu wedding villa offers an exclusive and intimate experience and is the perfect location to hold destination weddings. Situated between towering palm trees and vibrant flora, the property’s two buildings can accommodate a large group of your closest family and friends.
Zach and Mekayla celebrated their wedding on a beautiful weekend in late April. After a few days enjoying the beautiful pool and property with their closest people, they held their short and sweet ceremony in the estate’s back gardens. After the couple exchanged their vows under a tropical floral arch, guests were free to roam the expansive property to check out the mountain views from under twinkling lights.

Summer Wedding on Sauvie Island
As the summer sun cast its golden hues over the picturesque Sauvie Island in Portland, Oregon, love blossomed and colors came alive at Sophie and Jackson’s unforgettable rainbow themed wedding. This whimsical celebration embraced not only the vibrant spectrum of hues but also the deep spiritual significance of the chakras.
Sophie and Jackson’s Summer Wedding on Sauvie Island was a testament to their vibrant personalities and their deep connection with each other and the world around them. Inspired by the radiant beauty of rainbows, they chose to infuse their special day with an array of vivid colors. From the decor to the attire, every element was carefully curated to create a stunning visual tapestry that celebrated their love story.
Escaping the bustle of the reception, Sophie and Jackson ventured with me to a serene field on Sauvie Island, where we immortalized their love against the breathtaking canvas of a golden sunset.
Jackson, a talented guitarist, serenaded their guests during a lively reception. The rhythmic strums of the guitar reverberated through the air, intertwining with the laughter and applause of their loved ones.
As a wedding photographer, it was an honor to capture the radiant essence of Sophie and Jackson’s rainbow themed wedding. The vibrant colors and their spiritual significance provided a unique opportunity to craft visually captivating images that embodied the couple’s love and shared beliefs. From the tender exchange of vows to the playful moments of celebration, every frame immortalized the deep connection and the kaleidoscope of emotions that engulfed the day.

Oswego Hills Vineyard Wedding
Chloe and Julian held their elegant winery wedding on a beautiful sunny summer day at Oswego Hills Vineyard.
The rolling green hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley are home to some of the most stunning wine country in the world. I personally love Oswego Hills because of its classic white-pillared altar nestled amongst its expansive vineyard, and its bright and airy reception area. C and J chose to keep things simple and sophisticated with elements of tropical greenery that highlighted the lush element of the surrounding forest.
C and J decided to hold a surprise traditional Japanese Taiko drum performance for their guests. Three performers taught guests dances and played a shakuhachi (bamboo flute), shamisen (a three string instrument similar in shape to a guitar), and Taiko drums.

Redwoods Hoyt Arboretum Wedding
Maddie and Alex were married in a fairy tale forest ceremony at the redwood tree deck in Hoyt Arboretum. This Redwoods Hoyt Arboretum Wedding location is just a short drive from Portland, Oregon. The deck is the perfect location for both small weddings and elopements. And there is nothing quite like being married among these old giants. Something about it feels very uniquely PNW.
Keep in mind, parking can be limited at this location. Carpooling is usually the best plan of action.
The bride chose to get ready at a location in the Pearl overlooking the city, while the groom chose a house with a modern cabin feel and a large backyard. There are a plethora of options within ten minutes of forest park and it is easy to find one that fits both your unique style and budget.
The wildflower floral arrangements added a whimsical touch to this wedding and were provided by Vibrant Flowers.
After their Redwoods Hoyt Arboretum Wedding, everyone headed to the Sentinel Hotel for an intimate dinner in the Library Room. The hotel is located right downtown Portland within walking distance of both Powell’s bookstore and the Pearl.

A Forested Oregon Coast Wedding
Matt and Britta held their ceremony in the lush dark green forests of the Oregon coastline. I really love the versatility of the Oregon coast. One moment you can be in a mossy old growth forest, and with a five minute walk, you can arrive at a gently sloping dune filled beach nestled between large rocky cliffs. The Oregon coastline is always one of my first suggestions for clients traveling from outside of Oregon who contact me looking for elopements with dramatic backdrops. Nothing beats the unique formations found on Pacific Northwest beaches.
Colorful sunsets can be few and far in between on Oregon beaches, but when they happen, there is nothing quite like them. Everything is bathed in glowing reds, oranges, and purples.

Saint Petersburg Florida Beach Wedding
Sarah and Bradley celebrated their love with a beautiful Saint Petersburg Florida Beach Wedding.
The couple started their wedding day by getting ready with their closest friends and family at the Bellwether Beach Resort. The resort overlooks the beautiful lapping waves and white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. There is something so classically romantic about a beach wedding. While Sarah and Brad chose to follow tradition and hold their ceremony at a nearby Catholic church, they decided to hold their reception right on the coast.
Sarah and her bridesmaids hopped in a charming white street car rented from Star Trolley on their way to the ceremony.
Sarah and Bradley’s love story begins with the groom, who, during his formative years, attended a Catholic school nestled in the heart of Saint Petersburg. The couple chose to exchange their vows at the very church that had played a significant role in the his life while embarking on a new chapter of their own.
Following the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration continued at the Bellwether Beach Resort, where coastal charm met luxury. From the delicate floral arrangements to the elegantly adorned tables, every element came together to reflect the couple’s unique style and love for one another. As the sun began its descent, casting golden hues across the horizon, I snuck away with the couple to catch a stunning cotton candy sunset.

Dreamy Garden of the Gods Colorado Elopement
Tessa and Blake’s Garden of the Gods day after adventure photography session is what dreams are made of. We captured sweet intimate moments between the two as we explored the stunning red rocks of Colorado’s high desert.
We had quick moments of a sunset. The best end to a romantic day.

Golden and Bright Colorado Winter Wedding
Tessa and Blake’s Wedding cake was specially made to match the lace of her dress by Tessa’s mother Kim Bishop and the ladies of Michelle’s Bakery in Round Rock, Texas. It is definitely a favorite cake from the 2021 season.
Tess and Blake had an unusually warm wedding day in November at Black Forest by Wedgewood just outside of Colorado Springs.
We were blessed with lots of golden and bright light for their special day.
They said their, “I do!” overlooking a stunning evergreen forest in the mountains.
Guests mingled and danced the night away inside the reception hall.
The couple took time to dance with all of their family and friends.
As the evening drew to a close, the glow sticks came out and the dance party really began.
